If you did not participate in the 2011 Hootin and Hollarin Festival and are interested in displaying your booth for the 2012 show you must complete the waiting list form. Please note that applying for the waiting list does not guarantee a spot -- waiting list assignments are made as spaces become available. All applications must also include fees -- however checks are not cashed unless a space is assigned. IMPORTANT: DO NOT SUBMIT A VENDOR APPLICATION IF YOU ARE A NEW VENDOR. NEW VENDORS MUST COMPLETE THE WAITING LIST APPLICATION (ABOVE) Vendors who participated in the previous year's festival have until May 31st to submit a Vendor Application. |
Applications: We must have a completed application on all booths, crafters, attractions and demonstrations. New applicants: please enclose a photo or sample of your work.
Deadline: Deadline to receive applications is June 1st. Waiting list booth assignments will be placed shortly after.
Fee Schedule: Craft booths -- 12'x12' space $60.00. Food booths pay 10% of GROSS receipts -- require $50 deposit to hold space. Electricity: included.
Spaces: Booth spaces are on an asphalt surface. We recommend tarp or other shade. There is no staking. You must provide all tables and display items, etc.
Arts and Crafts: HAND CRAFTED ITEMS ONLY. No Consignments, flea market or commercial booths.
Food Booths: All food booths must comply with the guidelines established by the MO Dept of Health. We recommend that propane heat source be use for cooking.
Supervision: All booths must have an adult supervisor or an adult in charge at all times.
Sales Tax: The State of Missouri requires that sales tax be collected according to state guidelines. Additionally, we are required to turn in a list of all participants to the state.
Restrictions: We will not allow any booth to sell the following: Rubber band guns, slingshots, or weapons that could be dangerous. We reserve the right to remove any item from the show that may be dangerous or offensive to festival participants.
Parking: There is no parking on the square except to load and unload, then vehicles must be moved. There is no vehicle entry to the square during parade times.
Hours: The official kick-off for Hootin an Hollarin is 5 p.m. on Thursday evening; Activities begin on Friday and Saturday at 9 a.m. Square dancing begins at 9 p.m. each night. We encourage booths to stay open if the crowds are good.
Refunds: We will make a full refund on cancellations received by Aug 15th or you may choose to use it to reserve your space for the coming year. No refunds due to bad weather.
Check-in and set-up: There will be no set-up prior to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, NO EXCEPTIONS. Please check in at the Hootin An Hollarin information booth—map is available on the web-site or can be mailed upon request.
